SYNOPSIS:
"Boutique" is a story of confusion and survival of Iranian young generation in the capital city of Tehran. Eti, an innocent seventeen years old girl from a poor family seeks to escape from her infernal class boundaries with help of Jahan. Jahan, who doesn't show his fear of chaotic society and despite of many difficulties for preserving his job as a seller in a "Boutique" tries to help all of his friends including Eti but in fact discovers it is not easy to change the rules of his society.
BIOGRAPHY:
Hamid Nematollah was born in 1967 and began his film career at the age of sixteen, making 8 mm films. Since then, he has become a seasoned filmmaker who has worked in all aspects of film and television. He has been a critic for Cinematographic Magazine, as well as a scriptwriter and program director for television. He has served as an Assistant Director for many renown Iranian Directors and has made several short films in both 16 mm and Video format. “Boutique” is his first feature film.
