SYNOPSIS:

"Butterfly in the Wind" is a story of the struggle of a woman who has just been released from the prison. She's without refuge and oppressed by her husband. The sole hope for continuing her living is to find her daughter who is living with her traitor husband on Iran – Pakistan border. She has to cross a hard road in desert in order to find her beloved daughter. Only Amir, who doesn't know himself whether he is a friend or an enemy, will not desert her.

BIOGRAPHY:  

Born in 1962 in Shiraz, Abbas Rafei is graduate in Cinematography from the University of Television and later in dramatic literature. He has made some short films and documentaries and television series. His first feature was "Mina's Secret" and "Butterfly in The Wind" is his second feature.
